When you're in-character, actions and descriptions go in bold (the B icon, or Alt+B).

Dialog and spoken words are in plain text, with quotation marks (") to help set it apart from the narrative bits.

Thoughts and internal monologue are in italics (the I icon, or Alt+i)

For example:

Alphonse wandered into the Bard's Inn, looking for a drink. "Barkeep! Wine, if you please. Something from the south, with a bit of spice to it." His order given, the elf finds himself a seat and sighs, glancing toward the fireplace. Winter lasts entirely too long in this city...

NOTE: Whenever you hit Enter or Return to start a new line, it resets your formatting back to plain text. If you're in the middle of a description, you'll need to make the next paragraph bold, too!

You can set the color of your text to help everyone tell the difference between your posts and others, and to give it a bit of a personal flavor.
