Something I've been noticing, and catching about half the time, is how the text box for inputting the post will sometimes insert a random line break when it goes beyond the box's limits and moves to the next line visually. It looks like it's doing it a lot after commas, as the referenced post and the one just before it both have these breaks rather persistently after a comma.

Does not appear to be doing anything other than being a visual nuisance and a little thought-involving to catch it before hitting the post button.

Huh. Ok yeah that's weird.

Huh. Ok yeah that's weird. There is a < br inserted at those points - so it is something going on there. Maybe a return character during typing it up that got overlooked because the break point in the sentence was the same as a break point in the posting box so it looked like a natural return? After commas is a good point for a writer to naturally pause, then go back to the box hit enter and start typing again - accidentally introducing the new line they're not seeing b/c it's coincidentally at the edge of the box.

I'll play around a little to see if I can figure out if there's a mechanical insert going on or user-error - if it's user error I might be able to add a "mark ends of sentences" display option so less obvious ends like that can get highlighted.

Addendum

The manual fix for when I manage to catch it is to backspace and rejoin the before and after comma parts together. When I get to writing a post I will pay deeper attention to what happens and let you know. Thank you!
